EVALUATION OF THE QUALITY OF FRICTION SURFACES

Abstract

The role of certification tests in the assessment of the compliance of friction units of aviation and space technology is shown. Brief explanations are given on the explanation of the quality of triboelements and their controlled characteristics. On an example of evaluating the quality of coatings of friction units, the possibility of constructing a mathematical model for taking into account the corresponding groups of coating properties as components of quality indicators is shown. Analysis of types of quality control of friction surfaces, in particular their coatings, allows you to determine the specific significance and consumer properties of the monitored indicators. The methodical supply of the types of evaluation of the quality of the friction units is determined. Analytical dependencies that define the boundaries of the practical use of the constructed model, the estimation of the generalized quality index are presented. Identification of factors that affect the provision of established quality indicators and the establishment of ways to target these factors will reduce and optimize research on improving the quality of fric- tion surfaces.
