PRESSURE INFLUENCE ON THE FORMATION OF PROFILE AND THICKNESS OF LUBRICANT FILM IN THE LOCAL CONTACT OF ROLLING IN THE CONDITION OF ELASTIC-HYDRODYNAMIC LUBRICATION

Abstract
The influence of the pressure on the formation of lubricant film in the local contact of rolling investigated. The peculiarities of the pressure distribution and thickness of the material in the condition of elastic-hydrodynamic lubrication were analyzed. Friction of the high-loaded and worked-out tribological coupling is very critical and needs increased requirements for the reliability. Control of the parameters of lubricant layer will prevent the formation of lubricant starvation conditions in friction pairs with local contact form.
