EVENTS OF THE FIRST RUSSIAN REVOLUTION IN SOUTHERN UKRAINE ON THE MATERIALS OF THE STATE ARCHIVES OF MYKOLAYIV REGION

Abstract
The article examines the foundations of the State Archives of Mykolayiv region during the First Russian Revolution. All considered archival documents the author divides into three thematic blocks according to their informative orientation. Attention is focused on a secret correspondence between the office of Mayor of the city of Nikolayev to police and to government of Russian empire from 1905 to 1910. Based on archival documents, the author concluded that despite the reactionary tsarist policy in the years 1907-1910, revolutionary radical political parties continued to function.
