EVOLUTION OF ECONOMIC INDICATORS IN THE CLOTHING INDUSTRY: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS BETWEEN ROMANIA AND THE EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT

Journal Title: European Journal of Business and Social Sciences - Year 2016, Vol 5, Issue 6

Abstract

The goal of our approach is a thorough study of the achievement of high performance in making financial decisions on trading companies in the clothing industry through economic financial analysis. Another aspect that will be highlighted in the first chapter is the study of the clothing industry in relation to a national and international spectrum of multilateral analysis of the past, present and future. We will also present several hypotheses in order to establish some admissible promotion strategies for the industry in question. The clothing industry is of special importance to Romania, given that the enhancement of the clothing sector is a strategic objective at country level. Although the sector is currently facing significant challenges, it can be said that most investments in the clothing industry are profitable due to the high quality of garments made in Romania, which are mainly exported to Central and Southern Europe. The international repository of the clothing industry includes an extensive presentation, starting from history to the current life of the garment industry. We will mention the main stages of the evolution of the clothing industry worldwide as well as in the European Union. From a steady viewpoint, this evolution can be understood as having significant precedence among other industries.
