EVOLUTION OF THE SYSTEM OF ALPHABETIC SINGS OF THE MIDDLE-FRENCH LANGUAGE IN 14th – 15th CENTURIES IN THE IDEOGRAPHIC ASPECT

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the evolution of the system of alphabetic signs in the Middle French language of the 14th – 15th centuries in the ideographic aspect. In the presented work, a phonetic-graphic analysis of ideographic complexes was carried out and with its help was established an ideographic inventory of the Middle French language. Functional loads and characteristics of letter units of French graphics and spelling in the ideographic aspect are revealed. Specific features of the evolutionary development of alphabetic graphical complexes of the Middle French language in the ideographic aspect are determined. The basic graphic means for fixing letters-ideograms on the letter during the formation of the phonetics-graphic system of the French language are established
