Journal Title: REVISTA CHILENA DE ENTOMOLOGÍA - Year 2022, Vol 48, Issue 3

Abstract

The presence of the species Pudahuelia modesta Urra, 2013, in the Purranque coastal mountains (Osorno), is reported for the first time from specimens collected in Hueyusca during January 2022. This material allows considerably extending the distribution area of the species, from the Santiago Metropolitana region to the Los Lagos region, including part of two adjacent biogeographic zones, the Central Chilean sub-region and the Subantarctic sub-region.
