EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION OF SIDE PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION IN FORMS DURING THE COMPACTION PROCESS OF LIME-SAND MIXTURE

Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2010, Vol 234, Issue 6

Abstract

The paper presents the results of studies on pressures exerted by the compaction process of lime-sand mixture on the side-wall of circular forms. For this purpose, a stand was equipped with strain gauges placed at different form heights was used. The results will make it possible to choice an appropriate friction model.
