EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF EMULSIFICATION IN ONE-STAGE HIGH-SHEAR MIXER

Abstract

The results of experimental research of emulsification with a one-stage high-shear mixer which operating in a recirculation mode are presented. As a model liquid system used a composition of distilled water and silicone fluid, with addition of sodium dodecyl sulfate. The results of the research are summarized in form of size-consist histograms of the drops and the function of drops characteristic dimension from circulation rate.
