Exponential Stability of Nonlinear Non-autonomous Multivariable Systems
Journal Title: Discussiones Mathematicae Differential Inclusions Control and Optimization - Year 2015, Vol 35, Issue 1
Abstract
We consider nonlinear non-autonomous multivariable systems governed by differential equations with differentiable linear parts. Explicit conditions for the exponential stability are established. These conditions are formulated in terms of the norms of the derivatives and eigenvalues of the variable matrices, and certain scalar functions characterizing the nonlinearity. Moreover, an estimate for the solutions is derived. It gives us a bound for the region of attraction of the steady state. As a particular case we obtain absolute stability conditions. Our approach is based on a combined usage of the properties of the "frozen" Lyapunov equation, and recent norm estimates for matrix functions. An illustrative example is given.

Infinite dimensional uncertain dynamic systems on Banach spaces and their optimal output feedback control
In this paper we consider a class of partially observed semilinear dynamic systems on infinite dimensional Banach spaces subject to dynamic and measurement uncertainty. The problem is to find an output feedback control l...
A general class of McKean-Vlasov stochastic evolution equations driven by Brownian motion and Lèvy process and controlled by Lèvy measure
In this paper we consider McKean-Vlasov stochastic evolution equations on Hilbert spaces driven by Brownian motion and Lèvy process and controlled by Lèvy measures. We prove existence and uniqueness of solutions and regu...
Solutions of the Hammerstein equations in BVφ(IAB,R)
In this paper we study existence and uniqueness of solutions for the Hammerstein equation u(x)= v(x) + λ ∫_{I_{a}^{b}}K(x,y)f(y,u(y))dy in the space of function of bounded total φ-variation in the sense of Hardy-Vitali-T...
Random integral guiding functions with application to random differential complementarity systems
By applying the random topological degree we develop the methods of random smooth and nonsmooth integral guiding functions and use them for the study of random differential inclusions in finite dimensional spaces. Some e...
New results on fractional neutral integro-differential systems with state-dependent delay via resolvent operators
In this manuscript, we set up sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of solutions for fractional neutral integro-differential systems (FNIDS) with state-dependent delay (SDD) in Banach spaces. Our methodology...
