Factors Affecting Cigarette Consumption of University Students: An Application on Trakya University Students

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the factors that affect cigarette smoking behaviour of university students. In the concept of the study, face-to-face questionnaire is applied to students of Trakya University Keşan Yusuf Çapraz School of Applied Sciences. Binary Logistic Regression Analysis was used to analyze data that obtained from 300 students. As a result, it is found that gender, age, class, friends, smoking of familiy members, prestige, origin, being social and stress have significant effect on cigarette concumption of students.
