Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2023, Vol 2, Issue 12

Abstract

Pedagogical competence is a critical attribute for teachers, encompassing a range of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for effective teaching. This article explores the factors that contribute to the development of pedagogical competence in teachers. Drawing on scientific research and theoretical frameworks, we examine key factors such as subject matter knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, instructional strategies, reflective practice, continuous professional development, and supportive learning environments. Understanding these factors can inform teacher education programs, professional development initiatives, and educational policies aimed at cultivating and enhancing pedagogical competence in teachers to improve student learning outcomes.
