Familia y crisis del matrimonio en Espana
Journal Title: Studia Europaea Gnesnensia - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue
Abstract
In the course of mere three decades (1975–2005) Spain experienced transformations in almost all spheres of social life, which not only deepened the heterogeneity of forms in social life, but also led to a crisis of marriage as an institution, making it into a private decision devoid of normative character. This is not about the family in Spain being in crisis, but about the fact that the very family, developing in its bosom the strategies of simultaneous resistance and adaptation to the above changes, contributes to the generation of diversified forms and styles of family living. The current tendency to achieve ever greater pluralisation of the forms of family life in Spain cannot be seen as expired.
