Abstract
A mass of 3D meshes are obtained by 3D scanning, and it’s a key problem to eliminate the noises causing by scanning process. Bilateral filtering is used very successful in image denoising, it can also be used in mesh denoising. An anisotropic bilateral filtering method is introduced in mesh denoising, local estimates in which are involved both space distances and tangent planes of adjacent triangles of the mesh.
