Journal Title: Науковий вісник Міжнародного гуманітарного університету. Серія: «Юриспруденція» - Year 2018, Vol 31, Issue
Abstract
The article deals with theoretical and practical problems of the role and modern understanding of the principle of equality of citizens before the law, as well as the peculiarities of applying the principle of equal ity of citizens to the law in certain spheres of public administration. The analysis of current legislation of Ukraine and European legal acts on this issue was conducted. The author concludes that at this stage of law-making activity the subjects of public administration have been asked about compliance with the principle of equality in the defined way – verification of compliance with European standards and compliance with Ukraine’s obligations to ensure this principle. However, public administration actors comply with the principle of equality only in cases where the subject of legal regulation of proposed draft regulations relates to compliance with the principle of equality. In addition, special audits on compliance with the principle of equality are not performed by public administration entities at these stages.
