Features of Cognitive Disorders in Adults Epilepsy

Abstract

This article shows that cognitive disorders are a mandatory component of the clinical picture of epilepsy and have a significant impact on the quality of life of patients. Their severity depends on the duration of the disease, the clinical type of seizures, the clinical form of the disease. According to diagnostic criteria, cognitive impairment predominates in symptomatology and is less detectable in idiopathic epilepsy.
