Abstract
The article revealed the role of entrepreneurship as a specific sector of the economy, allows to analyze the dynamics of economic entities in individual sectors of the economy. Systematized periods of formation and development of Russian business. Systematized the main sources of financing for small businesses, the tendencies of economic restructuring and social activities in Russia, which should be aimed at the creation of companies providing and serving the first human needs.
