FEATURES OF PHILOSOPHICAL EDUCATION IN COUNTRIES OF SCANDINAVIA: AN ATTEMPT OF QUESTION

Abstract

The article deals with the details of the preparation of PhD, masters and bachelors of philosophy in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. It is found that in Scandinavia there are generally accepted 3-year undergraduate programs, but the practice of 1- and 2-year master programs is quite common. It is also highlighted that Master's training in the Scandinavian countries is both a classical philosophical, philosophical for a wide range of specialists, and research, and this mainly concerns such branches as logic, cognitive science, theory of reasoning, philosophy of language. It is explored that philosophical education at the PhD level in this region is aimed primarily at the ability of the graduate to use the tools, different types of innovative skills necessary for effective communication and information management. It is proved that among the possible aspects of modernizing the domestic philosophical education there should be introduction of master's programs with a narrower specialization, as well as more significant introduction of the innovative component in the contents of the PhD preparation.
