USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PROCESS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract
The relevance of the material, presented in the article, is caused by the need to use information and communication technologies in foreign languages teaching. In the article the author clarified the meaning of «technology», «information technology» and «information and communication technologies», describes the main methods, techniques and content of information means of teaching foreign language communication, which are used by teachers of higher educational establishments. The information and communication technologies of foreign languages teaching are analyzed, which are used in Ukraine’s higher educational establishments. The interconnection of information and communication training technology and efficiency of students’ mastering a foreign language is established. The urgency of their using in the process of foreign languages teaching is proved as a factor in the intensification of foreign language education.
