FEATURES OF THE GATHERING OF EVIDENCE IN THE TERRITORY OF ANOTHER STATE WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN THE CRIMINAL PROCESS AND THEIR ASSESMENT

Abstract
The article is devoted to international cooperation in criminal proceedings. International legal acts and current legis- lation provide for legal assistance by collecting evidence in the territory of another state, including the application of the laws of the requesting State. On the basis of the analysis of the practice, suggestions are made to determine the authority authorized to determine the possibility of applying foreign legislation, methods of collecting evidence and assessing them.
