Features of the genre in the novel “Never Let Me Go” Kazuo Ishiguro

Abstract
The article deals with genre peculiarities in the artistic prose of the modern British writer Kazuo Ishiguro. The purpose of the article was a comprehensive analysis of the genre features of the novel “Never Let Me Go”: genre content is traced, genre and style dominant, main motives are analyzed. A special place in the analysis is given to the study of personal chronotops of the heroes, who unite in the structure of the novel, and complete a general chronotope of the work.
