Abstract
The article is devoted to peculiarities of use of non-verbal information in the course of overcoming the counteraction to criminal justice in general and pre-trial investigation in particular. On the basis of the study, attention is paid to the fact that investigators do not pay enough attention to non-verbal information and its use in the investigation. In such a situation, investigators have difficulties obtaining positive results of the investigation, and in the case of counteraction from stakeholders, these conditions become even more unfavorable. It is substantiated that this is one of the reasons for the unsatisfactory state of the fight against crime. The focus is on the fact that the insufficient level of this knowledge and the skills of their use leads to difficulty in guiding the investigator in a situation that can lead to unnecessary time expenditures of forces and means. Nonverbal information may be used during any procedural steps. However, the most widely - during the conduct of interrogations, investigative experiments, searches, presentations for identification. It is noted that the search for indicators indicating the impact on the relevant participants should be carried out on a permanent basis. However, due to the lack of knowledge of the skills and skills of using non-verbal information, it is advisable to involve Attention is drawn to the expediency of video recording of the process of conducting procedural actions for further analysis on the subject of false testimony by the relevant participant. The discovery of such facts should be used to build assumptions about their causes, including the pressure from stakeholders, as well as a more balanced approach to the conduct of the party involved in the proceedings, adjustment of the investigation plan.
