Features of Ukraine as a logistics center

Abstract

Introduction. The state of the logistics system in Ukraine, as well as in any other country, depends on its economic development. Logistic functions allow the interaction of the members of economic relations, combine and unite the production chains and find the goods and services of their buyers and consumers. It is necessary to understand that the volume of logistic processes is directly influenced by domestic and foreign trade, the political state of the country, the trend of production, as well as the level of dynamism of consumers in the market. Purpose. The purpose of the work is to analyze Ukraine as a logistics center, consideration of the logistic mechanism consisting of automobile, railway, aviation and maritime transport in the country and the allocation of a number of factors that have an impact on the development of the logistics market in Ukraine. Results. Logistics is a science that is developing. In this article the authors have considered the concept of Logistics system and features that Ukraine has as a logistics center. Also, how does logistic affect on the development of the economic mechanism in general on the country, and what are the trends in logistics development in automotive, rail, aviation and maritime transport. In addition, the authors identify the main factors that can influence the development of the logistics market in Ukraine. Conclusion. At the present time logistics can be called the most important element of any business process that needs to be applied, used and developed in countries to save and optimize economic costs. Now in Ukraine it is necessary to create and develop a positive image of the logistics business and to introduce it in the best practices at the enterprises. At the same time, it is necessary to improve the legislation on logistics, which should promote the development of seaports, the market of rail and road transport, aviation companies, and others.Ukraine has a very large potential for the development of the Silk Road between Asia and Europe. Therefore, since 2019, Ukraine, together with Turkey, is working on increasing the navy, establishing a free trade zone between the two countries, which will enable our country to join the Silk Road.
