FESTIWALIZACJA ŻYCIA KULTURALNEGO – FORMA PROMOCJI, CZY TRIUMF IDEI? STUDIUM PRZYPADKU

Abstract
Temat festiwalizacji życia kulturalnego stał się podstawą do podjęcia refleksji nad niniejszą problematyką i opublikowania go w formie artykułu. Głównym zagad-nieniem tej pracy jest odpowiedź na pytanie czy dane zjawisko zawiera więcej aspek-tów socjologicznych, czy promocyjnych. Ponadto postaram się przedstawić kwestie, które mam nadzieję pomogą w szerszym rozumieniu tego pojęcia. Założyłam, że festiwalizacja to zjawisko polegające na organizowaniu dużej liczby festiwali i innych imprez kulturalnych w celach socjologicznych, jak również promocyjnych. Zatem celem niniejszej pracy jest scharakteryzowanie tej dziedziny w ramach samego zjawiska oraz pojęcia marketingu. Podsumowanie będzie zawierało odpowiedź na pytanie czy festiwalizacja jest traktowana jako zjawisko wspomagające w kształtowaniu kultury, czy promujące dane miejsce. The theme of festivalization of cultural life became the basis for reflection on this issue and its publication in the form of an article. The main issue of this work is the answer to the question whether a given phenomenon contains more sociological or promotional aspects. In addition, I will try to present the issues that I hope will help in a broader sense of the term. I assumed that festivalization is a phenomenon involving the organization of a large number of festivals and other cultural events for sociological as well as promo-tional purposes. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to characterize this field within the framework of the phenomenon itself and the concept of marketing. The summary will contain an answer to the question whether the festival is treated as a supportive phenomenon in shaping culture or promoting places.
