Field monitoring on vibration acceleration response of railway in seasonal frozen region of Daqing induced by train-steering in winter

Abstract

Through the field monitoring experiment of Daqing seasonal frozen region in winter, the vibration accelerations of the sleeper and the subgrade induced by train-steering with high speed were measured and the variation laws of vibration acceleration induced by train-steering in the seasonal frozen region in winter were investigated. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) the main vibrations of the sleeper and the subgrade near the center line of the railway are vertical when the train is passing by, the subgrade a little far away from the center line mainly takes on the longitudinal and vertical vibration, and when the distance from the center line to the measured point on the subgrade attains to a certain value, the vibration of the subgrade is lateral and vertical; (2) the vibration responses of the sleepers and the subgrade depend on such influential factors as train type, the velocity etc; (3) the accelerations of the sleepers and the subgrade induced by the train moving load decrease with the increase of the distance from the measured point to the center line of the railway. The above research is very useful for understanding the dynamic performance of the sleeper-subgrade system in the seasonal frozen region, and provides the reference for the design, construction of the railway subgrade in the seasonal frozen region and for the theoretical study.
