Financial Literacy: A Content Analysis of Graduate Theses (2010-2022)

Abstract

The study includes the analysis of 135 graduate theses, consisting of master's and doctoral theses published between 2010 and 2022. The content analysis method was employed to analyze the theses written on the subject of financial literacy. It is observed that financial literacy has transformed into a significant educational and research tool from a nascent discipline. Therefore, investigating and determining the current trends in thesis studies in this field holds importance. Considering the increasing emphasis on financial literacy to enhance individuals' personal financial management skills, the results hold significant importance for both individual and societal financial education
