FINANCIAL PUBLIC REPORTING OF CREDIT INSTITUTIONS AS A SOURCE OF HISTORY STUDY ОF CREDIT AND BANKING SYSTEM OF UKRAINE (1850–1917 YEARS)

Abstract
This article analyzes the public financial reporting of banks and credit institutions of the second part of ХІХ – early ХХ century, as a source of financial statistics. Financial credit reporting, it is accounting documentation, which made the main results of credit operations for equal periods of time. Banks and credit institutions were required to provide such reports to the special office of the Ministry of Finance, official chamber and publish major articles in newspapers. These current control materials of credit institutions accumulated during all period of its existence till Spring of 1917, till the moment, when the system of collecting and publishing this information ceased to exist. This practice is one way of state control and the form of disclosure regarding transactions of credit institutions.
