FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR SCIENTIFIC AND SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL WORK IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article analyzes main tendencies of financing scientific and scientific and technical work in Ukraine. The composition of the scientific sphere by sectors is considered. The main sources of scientific research financing are defined. The number of organizations that carry out scientific and technical developments and the volume of scientific and scientific-technological work performed in the context of fundamental, applied research and other areas are analyzed. The dynamics of financing scientific and scientific-technological work in Ukraine is studied. The distribution of expenses for scientific and scientific-technological work according to their types is investigated. The necessity of reforming financial support of scientific activities as a factor affecting the quality of higher education is substantiated.
