Finite Element Analysis of Y+41 LiNbO3 Based on SAW Resonators Including Perfectly Matched Layer
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2014, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper describes the modelling and simulation of Surface acoustic waves (SAW) in piezoelectric thin film by using a finite element method (FEM) in combination with Perfectly Matched Layer (PML). Various important piezoelectric parameters of a resonator based on Y+41 Lithium Niobate (Y+41 LiNbO3), such as the surface velocity, the electromechanical coupling coefficient, the reflectivity and the displacement were computed. Harmonic modes of surface waves are also simulated, analyzed and compared to experimental results.

Experimental Studies on Concrete Replacing Fine Aggregate with Blast Furnace Slags
In our world today, concrete has become ubiquitous. It is hard to imagine modern life without it. Approximately five billion tonnes of concrete are used around the world each year. The increasing popularity of concrete a...
Structural Design and Analysis of Mounting Structure for Flight Vehicle
The project deals with the structural design and analysis of mounting structure for assembling of electronic packages in a flight vehicle section. The flight vehicle consists of various sections assembled to form an inte...
Portable Camera-Based Product Label Reading For Blind People
We propose a camera-based assistive text reading framework to help blind persons read text labels and product packaging from hand-held objects in their daily life. To isolate the object from untidy backgrounds or other s...
Determination of Wax Content in Egyptian Crude Oils
Wax precipitation is one of the most important flow assurance problems. Unfortunately, experimental data are very scarce to confirm existing models for prediction of such production impairment and other hazardous risk; w...
