Abstract

İlim, insana doğuştan verilen yetilerle elde edilen ve öğrenme çabasıyla daima canlı kalan, gelişen ve yenilenen bir olgudur. İlmi teşvik eden ve canlı tutan, kâinattaki hârikulâde güzellikler ile insanın merak duygusunu tahrik eden esrarengiz olaylar ve sürekli arayış içinde olan ve bir türlü tatmin olmayan insan ruhudur. İnsanın fıtrî bir özelliği olarak öğrenme, anlama ve yorumlama faaliyeti ilk insandan beri var olmuştur. Maddî-manevî ihtiyaçlar, rahat ve konforlu yaşama arzusu ve entellektüel tatmin duygusu ilmî ve fikrî faaliyetleri geliştirmiş; farklı ilim dallarının meslek ve sanatların doğmasına zemin hazırlamıştır.
