First state formations on Ukrainian territory

Abstract
The article describes the first state formations in Ukraine in the Northern Black Sea process of formation and development encountered at the end of the first millennium BC - early first millennium AD. The authors analyze the problem of the origin and subsequent development of such countries as Cimmeria, Tavrica, Scythia, Sarmatia, the Greek city-colonies (Olbia, Hersonissos, Pantikapaion and other), Bosporus kingdom, Gothik and Huns states. The people of the states didn’t have direct genetic relation to the Ukrainians, but mostly influenced Eastern Slavic tribes, which later became the basis of the formation of the Ukrainian nation and the creation of there own state.
