Fissionexcitation functionsinducedby weakly bound nuclei 6He and 7Li
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Study of fission reactions induced by weakly bound nuclei 6He and 7Li beams on 209Bi and 208Pb targets, leading to the same production of 215At compound nuclei, were investigated. The fission excitation functions for the reactions 7Li + 208Pb and 7Li + 209Bi were investigated to show the effect of targets on the fission cross sections. It was shown that the fission excitation functions for the reactions 6He + 209Bi and 7Li + 208Pb had similar behavior within the experimental error for a broad range of energy. More likely, halo structure of 6He is not reflected on the fission reaction mechanism. Otherwise, a large value of the fusion cross section was observed so far, as it could be expected in the case of weakly bound character of 6He projectile.

Lattice Points on the Homogeneous Cone 8(x^2+y^2 )-15xy=56z^2
The ternary quadratic equation 8(x^2+y^2 )-15xy=56z^2 representing a cone is analysed for its non-zero distinct integer points on it. Employing the integer solutions, a few interesting relations between the solutions and...
Comparison of criteria for the selection of discriminating variables: Application in Credit-Scoring
Banks want to reduce the credential risk by applying rules in order to classify the new loan seekers into “good customers” and “bad customers”. Searching past data is the best solution to build a statistics strategy to s...
New Technique for Solving Fractional Physical Equations
In this paper, we introduce a new technique for solving fractional physical equations in the form of a rapid convergence series arrives at the exact solutions called variational iteration natural transform method(VI...
The Eigenvalues and the Eigenfunctions of the Sturm-Liouville Fuzzy Boundary Value Problem According To the Generalized Differentiability
In this paper, the eigenvalues and the eigenfunctions of the fuzzy Sturm-Liouville fuzzy boundary value problem equation is examined under the approach of generalized differentiability. Different examples are solved for...
Homogeneous Bi-Quadratic Equation with Four Unknowns
We obtain infinitely many non-zero integer quadruples satisfying the the Biquadratic equation with four unknowns. Various interesting properties among the values of x, y, z and w are presented.
