Abstract
Diabetes is a disease of affluence, and its morbidity rate is still systematically increasing. Many people suffer from diabetes even before the diagnosis is made, which proves that the signs and symptoms associated with diabetes can be mistaken for other illnesses. Physiotherapy, which includes kinesiotherapy, resort treatment and physical therapy, is particularly important for patients with diabetes.
