FOOD DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRY IN POLAND IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALISATION

Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the changes that occurred in the food industry in the context of globalization of the world economy. Analysis concerned the size and structure of foreign direct investment to the agri-food sector. Against the background of global trends in the inflow of direct foreign investments, the food industry shows investments in Poland. The study covered the period 2004-2014. The studies found the increasement of the value of global investment in the food sector. The world’s largest corporations invested in the Polish food sector. Thanks to FDI, Polish food industry is dynamically developing.<br/><br/>
