Formation of the theological and philosophical concept of personality in the context of contemporary orthodox christian antropology

Abstract
In this article a theological understanding of the personality is presented as a meaningful metaphysical foundation, subsequent upon the fundamental Orthodox dogmatic teachings – Triadology and Christology. The article offers a systematically organised list of the features essential for the personal way of being which lays the ontological groundwork for creating specific personality anthropological models for the Orthodox Christian anthropology and humanities research. Examples pertaining to the fields of religious studies, sociology, cultural studies et cetera are offered qua application of the personal and methodological approach to the solution of the humanitarian problems. The author discusses essential traits and seeks to find the place of the personal methodological approach in modern theology.
