Abstract
The article defines the civil and legal essence of preliminary agreement and letter of intents, as the main form of con- tractual ensuring of agreements which will be concluded in the future. The contents are analyzed, particularly, essential conditions of specified contractual structures. Identified areas of further research in this field.
