Forward and Backward Sweep Algorithm for Distribution Power Flow Analysis and Comparison of Different Load Flow Methods
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 12
Abstract
Power flow analysis is a very important and fundamental tool for the analysis of any electrical distribution system and is used in the operational as well as planning stages. Certain applications particularly in distribution automation and optimization of an electrical system require repeated load flow solutions. In these applications it is very important to solve the power flow problem as efficiently as possible. This paper describes a forward backward sweep method based approach for load flow analysis in radial distribution system and also includes comparison of different load flow methods. The effectiveness of the proposed forward and backward sweep algorithm will be tested on IEEE-33 bus system.

Hierarchical Energy Efficient Routing Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks: Survey
Wireless sensor networks have small nodes deployed which have small batteries used for operations which consumes or dissipates more battery. As a solution for this energy efficient routing is best optimal way. An energy...
slugEffects of Extraction Techniques on Total Flavonoids, Phenols and Antioxidant Activity of Different Plants Extract
Among the known fruits and vegetables, darkcoloured fruits and vegetables have been reported to be good sources of phenolics, including flavonoids, anthocyanins and carotenoids and are recognized as more he...
Image Generation in Microprocessor-based System with Simultaneous Video Memory Read/Write Access
In this paper we present a new architecture of video memory data handling in microprocessor-based systems. This architecture is a solution for the real time image processing systems which requires a significant recordin...
