FROM THE HISTORY OF UKRAINIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES (TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF UKRAINE)

Abstract

The paper gives brief information on the fate of scientists, the scientific achievements of which laid the foundation of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. The names of the first real members of the UAN (most of them) were practically forgotten and removed from encyclopaedic books of the Soviet era, and the scientific heritage fell into oblivion.
