FROM UKRAINIAN OIKONYMY OF KYIV REGION: ETYMOLOGICAL COMMENTS

Abstract
The article explains some oikonyms of Kyiv region, describes the time of their first citation in the historical sources and motives of nomination. The etymological analysis of the oikonyms had an aim to extend the linguistic informational content of the investigated region. The described oikonyms showed that resources for the revival of the Slavic vocabulary and its regional spreading are not exhausted yet. The reconstruction of the Slavic anthroponyms has a perspective for the replenishment of genetic nests and description of the chronological section of anthroponyms.
