Functioning of phrasal verbs in English language legal discourse

Abstract
The article presents the results of theoretical and statistical analysis of one of the units of legal discourse – the phrasal verb. The literature on the definition of the phrasal verb as a unit of language, its features and functions was reviewed. The texts for decisions and conclusions of European judicial and advisory bodies served as a material for statistical analysis.
