Communicative deviations in the promissive acts by the Ukrainian and Russian politicians

Abstract
The article examines the promissive explicit speech acts in the political discourse. Promissive expressions have been classified by the semantic shade of the promissive. The article gives a detailed analysis of communicative deviations in the promissive acts by the Ukrainian and Russian politicians.
