Gender features of women’s professional self-realization

Abstract

This article analyzes and introduces the main theoretical approaches to the study of the gender peculiarities of women’s professional self-realization. The scientific researches of the scientists concerning the aspects of women’s professional self-realization, as well as the study of gender characteristics that influence the process of self-realization, are analyzed. The emphasis in the work calls for a further empirical study of ways to overcome the obstacles associated with professional segregation, as well as the search for effective personal resources that contribute to the successful process of self-realization.
