ГЕНДЕРНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ІНТЕРЕСІВ І МОТИВІВ ДО ЗАНЯТЬ СПОРТОМ У ЮНАКІВ І ДІВЧАТ

Abstract
Introduction and purpose of the study. This article presents the results of identifying gender peculiarities of the interests and motives of boys and girls. This study will help teachers and trainers better understand their wards, while at the same time giving sports and physical culture more popularity that will help improve the motivation of the younger generation. Hypothesis. The study suggests that the definition of gender peculiarities of interests and motives will contribute to the formation of sustainable interest and increase the motivation to engage in physical education and sports, and will promote the attraction of students to different forms of physical education and recreational activities. The purpose – to identify the gender peculiarities of the interests and motives of sports in boys and girls. Materials and methods of research – study and analysis of literary sources, test questionnaire S. Bem (BSR), methods of mathematical statistics. The study took place during the 2017-2018 school year. The study was attended by 300 respondents, among them 10-11 grade students of general secondary education institutions of Kyiv (50 boys and 50 girls), students of the I-II year courses at the University College of Kyiv Borys Hrinchenko University (50 girls), І-ІІ students courses of the Kyiv-based college of communication (50 boys), and students of the I-II courses of the IvanoFrankivsk College of Physical Education (50 boys and 50 girls). Results. The psychological type of pupils’ youth is determined. The results of interests and motives are presented in accordance with each of the psychotypes. The obtained data testify that there are features in the manifestation of interests and motives between psychotypes of young men and young women. Conclusions. It has been determined that masculine-type young people with the choice of almost identical sports, and “feminine” target different occupations, the first - sports, the second - health. The feminine psychological type is more characteristic of the female sex and the motives of engaging in sports are distributed more harmoniously in them, but with a greater emphasis on sports orientation, in turn, they do not forget about the harmony of body structure, normalization of body weight and improvement of health
