General Assemblies of citizens at the place of residence in the decisions of Ukrainian courts.

Abstract
The article reveals the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the provisions of which should be taken into account when further improving the legislation of Ukraine on general assemblies of citizens at the place of residence; among them – the decision “On the exercise of power by the people”, 2005 and the decision “On the adoption of the Constitution and laws of Ukraine in the referendum”, 2008. The author of the article has proved the necessity to take into account the provisions of a motive part of the decisions of the courts of general jurisdiction that are relevant to the general assemblies of citizens at the place of residence, with further improvement of the relevant legislation; this thesis is illustrated by analyzing a number of decisions of courts of general jurisdiction on the recognition of general assemblies of citizens at the place of residence unauthorized.
