The constitutional process as a basis for state building

Abstract
In this work discloses the essence of the question of the constitutional process in Ukraine. Study the issues that are related to the emergence and assertion of constitutionalism in the state. The focus is on ways of implementing the national constitutional reform. Identified the main stages of the constitutional process on the basis of the analysis of the development in Ukraine of the relevant legislation and comparing it with the operating time of the European states. Displaying the dynamics of constitutional reform-pending on the basis of the main provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine.
