GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF LEGAL REGULATION OF RATIONAL USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES IN UKRAINE AND EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract
The article analyzes the main priorities on the way to bring environmental law in Ukraine in line with EU environmental law. The author defines the basic obligations assumed by Ukraine in the field of environmental protection, natural resource management and environmental security in the framework of the European integration process. He states that further development of environmental law in Ukraine requires an understanding of the principles on which the EU environmental law is based.
