Genesis and evolution of the institute of liability for customs offenses

Abstract
The article is devoted to the historical aspect of responsibility for violation of customs legislation. The stages of the formation and evolution of the institute of responsibility for violation of customs legislation in the territory of present-day Ukraine are considered. Made emphasis on the fact that responsibility for customs offenses are intersectoral legal institution.
