Abstract
Orthodox Church being a mother for Rusin in the XVIII century. was finally replaced by the Uniate Church, subjectively subjected to latinization and denationalization. The planned Galician Golgotha met, however, the adversaries, faithful to the Greek-Russian spiritual culture, and they began to defend ordinances, worship, church architecture, iconography, church singing, and language. In XIX the process of turning to Orthodoxy, the Old Russian national revival begins. Together with the accent to Orthodoxy, the Rusіn begin the sacramental path, prosecution and litigation. In order to liquidate Rusin, concentration camps were opened: Talergof, in the foothills of the Alps, not far from Graz and Terezin in the Northern Chekhs, martyrdom of prisoners resembles the first centuries of Christianity. Oleksiy Kabalyuk, the tireless Apostle of Transcarpathia, became spiritual support for his people during the new persecutions in Transcarpathia. The apostle for the returning to the Orthodoxy of Lemkivshchyna was St. Maxim Sandovich, who was murdered in 1914 Despite the repression against the Orthodox Slavs, the Austro-Hungarian Empire could no longer offend the beginning of the process.
