Genre originality of the story by N.V.Stankevich “A few moments in the life of Earl Z ***”

Abstract
The article investigates the genre originality of story by N.V. Stankevich “A few moments in the life of Earl Z ***”. This novel is not considered to be a great artistic value but it reflected the author’s spirit. The author’s ideas are expressed by Earl Z, he is the main hero of the novel. His image is inseparable from both N.V. Stankevich and from lyrical image by N.V. Stankevich. As a reflection of the spirit of that time, this story is among other Russian romantic novels that provided real-time type of hero.
