Geographical structure of the investments companies in Central Europe and algorithmic trading

Abstract
The aim o this paper is analyzing the geographical concentration of investments companies in neighborhood countries. The analysis consist of Poland Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Base on the 5671 notification on regulated markets the distances between the domestic capital market and company office were computed. The research follows H. Hau and priory author’s analysis on impact of the entity geographical presents on profitability and ability for the high frequency trading. The evidence were gathered that even if the stock exchanges tends to implement the necked access, the geographical distribution of the investments companies indicates barriers for its development.
