Globalization as a factor of influence on formation and preservation regional and local identity

Abstract
The article is analyzed the role of globalization and its impact on regional and local identity. It is considered the scientific approaches, which determine as destructive and stimulating factor of influence on regional and local identity in globalization processes. It is determined that there is a tendency to violate the integrity of regional and local identity in the conditions of globalization, the influence of negative globalization processes intensifies the identity crisis or stimulates the isolationist tendencies of the territorial community.
